Handle basic bookkeeping tasks such as data entry, invoicing, and accounts payable/receivable processing. Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. Maintain organized and updated financial records, including invoices, receipts, and expense reports. Provide administrative support to various departments, including filing, data entry, and record keeping. Assist in managing correspondence, emails, and phone calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports. Ensure timely follow up with the Vendors on the outstanding invoices. Collaborate with other departments and communicate effectively to resolve accounting discrepancies. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Previous experience in accounting or finance roles preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, Tally and accounting. Knowledge of ERP system i.e., Oracle would also be advantageous Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take initiative when necessary. Basic knowledge of TDS on receivables both as per Income Tax Act and GST. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
