Job Description

As a NetSuite Software Engineer with an e-commerce/finance background, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining NetSuite ERP systems. You will work closely with multiple teams that interface with NetSuite to ensure their financial processes, product/order lifecycle, and systems are efficient, accurate, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and customizing NetSuite solutions to meet our business needs and improve operational efficiency. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders to translate business processes into effective technical solutions. NetSuite Solution Development: Design and develop customized NetSuite solutions to address specific business requirements. Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into technical specifications. System Optimization: Configure and optimize NetSuite modules, workflows, scripts, and integrations for enhanced performance and usability. SuiteScript Development: Develop SuiteScripts (SuiteScript 1.0 and 2.0) for customizations, automation, and system enhancements. Integration Management: Implement and maintain integrations between NetSuite and third-party systems using tools like SuiteTalk and RESTlets. Data Management: Perform data migration, cleansing, and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to quickly identify and resolve issues. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with NetSuite releases, new features, and best practices to continually improve solutions. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for solutions, specifications, and development activities. Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.
